@shelbygrant.photography: Which photo looks the hardest to capture? 🤩 #wildlife #nature #wildlifephotography #naturelovers

Seb Boomsma :

wdym 30 seconds for a kingfisher? Pls tell me this is ragebait 😭❤️

Shelby Photography :

Realities of getting "the shot" A lot of these photos have technically taken me months of research and fieldcraft like the foxes and tawny owls, and some have come from pure "right time and right place." It had been my dream to photograph fox cubs for over 2 years, but the photographic process after finding the den, monitoring the trail cameras was 46 hours sitting in my hide and in full camouflage... And for my 2 year tawny owl shot, my first roosting adult in my local woods, it actually came from me sitting down one evening next to a tree, glancing up and there it was! Wildlife photography really is a game of patience, failed attempts and learning curves, and sometimes you're rewarded for the hours, months and years of effort, but sometimes the shot comes in minutes 📸
