Oh, wow. This finally explains the mystery. When my kids started school thier teachers were really young looking, not to mention cute. Even my wife commented on it, so not me being a creepy old man. As they got through elementary, middle and highschool the teachers were older... older... older and grumpier... and lastly "we are too damn old for this shit". It makes sense if it takes fewer requirements to teach the younger grades. I never knew!
