@abc7la: (9/8/26) More than a dozen homes in the #Capistrano Beach area have been damaged as powerful #waves slam the #OrangeCounty coastline. #breakingnews #breaking
This is why I don’t buy a beach house 🙄(I have $12 in my bank account)

Houses weren't meant to be built that close to a beach. Its common sense

Those people who own those houses should be fined for littering the ocean.

I grew up in California (Lompoc), we NEVER lived less than 5 miles away from the ocean because of this reason. The residence of california should KNOW by now that’ll happen if they live that close. It’s not cheap to live that close either, so it’s not a poverty issue.💀 People just think they’re stronger than nature I guess…

I’ve lived here most of my life, and no way I’d live that close to the ocean or tilting on a rock on some cliff. It’s just asking for problems.

Hmm, It’s sad that they’re having issues with their homes. Common sense would indicate that building on the beach would expose the house to tides and storms.
