@overgenpoverty: did you figure out what it was? 👇🏽 because we spent thousands of dollars on our Greece 🇬🇷 vacation dropped a lot of 💸 on beautiful airbnbs, fun activities, and delicious restaurant meals 🥙 but we *intentionally* (and this is the key word) chose not to spend any money on ubers / private transportation if we didn’t have to 💁🏽♀️ 🛑 and hold on… I know this is very privileged because 1) we’re a couple so we’re not traveling alone and I know for some people that are alone, they might feel safer using private transportation and 2) we went to a country that luckily did have safe and accessible public transportation this is a rule that we not only follow on vacation but we also follow it at home 🗽 in NYC ✨ because 👇🏽 in a world where people “uber everywhere” instead of taking public transportation — when the end result is the same (getting from point A to point B)… are Ubers even worth the price? #moneytalks #moneytakes #traveling #publictransportation #financiallyresponsible
