I think you can have this kind of effect by laying on a Swiss ball

thank you so much. I've always been so frustrated with why I'm told to invert to decompress my spine or hang to do so. but it only feels good while I'm doing it and then it is often worse after I'm done.

however do gymnasts and rock climbers not explode their spines? er... we evolved from a common ancestory to chimps... we can handle daily hanging

Baby Metatron :
Well, most people are already compressing the spine with any/all back exercises they do, much more than any decompression work. So I don’t think there’s a need to add such a small amount of compression during the tiny amount of decompression most people will do.

I heard that doing dead hangs is a good measure of strength though and that you should be doing it daily

And you have hernia back in the game or acid reflux because of that down going machine, however hanging is good (if it’s not like in iran by neck ) but try to warm up and don’t do it more than a minute at the time . Health is ghe most expensive thing in the world

Hanging brings strength to your arms and you use this strength to alleviate back straining movements.
