today’s my dads first heaven birthday and i have been feeling sick all day. the type of sick where you’re sweating like crazy but you don’t have a fever, your stomach is so upset you can’t tell if you need to throw up or poo, and a headache so bad it comes with dizziness ALL AT THE SAME TIME. and all i could think about is am i feeling this way because my heart is full of this anger and evilness because he’s dead and i’m so mad at the people around me just going on with their day? or is it because even though my brain doesn’t, my body still remembers it exactly a year ago? i miss him so much and i feel like i don’t remember anything about him. his voice or his scent or the way his stubble felt on my cheek. and it’s only been a year. what do you mean i have to live the rest of my life like this and i’m only 24.

To be honest I’d take any version of him, if it meant I could have him back! Life is so cruel. I had everything and in an instant it was all ripped away!

Tomorrow is my Dad’s birthday. He would have been 59. He passed away almost 2 months ago. He fought so so hard, he wanted to stay here with us so bad 🥺 1 week before he died he finally accepted that he had to leave soon. I will forever miss every version of him 💔

i felt every single word. my dad passed from complications of COPD, he got an infection and it turned into sepsis. i watched him wither away right in front of my eyes. he became so weak and i wanted to help him so much. i lost him two years ago and my heart is completely broken for all these versions of my dad. watching struggle to breathe just so he could play with my children. i not only lost my dad my children have lost their best friend. i am so angry that everyone else just gets on with it and jealous of people who have their dads. i can't help it. i am hollow.
