I use Piper to turn fanfiction into audiobooks and I built a program with Claude that swaps out words. It will swap in Spanish and convey and other random words. My vocab is getting so much better because it just swaps in random Spanish so you learn all these different words because of context clues and you're just learning them.

Love this! for Japanese I'm reading Naruto. It has furigana and a good mix of basic and intermediate phrases/words. It's just challenging enough for me. I annotate the book as I read and just read about 2-4 pages a day. Any words I don't know, I look up and make a note. I tried graded readers but they were so boring lol I have adhd so this worked for me.

When choosing a book to read it’s also recommended to choose one that has a maximum 2 or 3 new words on each page, if it has more than that the book is considered above your level and is easier to burn out on.

I'm gonna do this challenge alongside the actual lectures I'll be taking in October for Irish, and I actually found a very useful book that has a bunch of phrases in Irish with it's translation, and I think it might be great for starting the language out
