If I want to camp what should I do? Like do I need a permit

MJ :

If I camp for one night, do I need permit?🙏🏻

🦢 :

I wish people would stop giving locations, it encourages unprepared and people with no trail manners to go ruin beautiful places. Last time I went there was a huge group of teenagers that were picking flowers and throwing them around, they didn’t pick the flowers and keep them, they were straight up picking and throwing them. It’s so crowded now and I wish they’d put a permit system to do day hikes as well. It’s so disappointing seeing so much trash now, toilet paper and wipes all along the trail. Though I appreciate you putting leave no trace because none of the videos I see posting this trail are putting that, if you can carry it in you can carry it out 🫠

I’m planning on doing this hike next weekend. Do you think the parking will fill up this time of year? I would try and get their earlier but I live too far.

Lisa Chang :

Do you encounter any animals?
