You need to go to New Braunfels in Central Texas. Tube the Comal River, don’t skip the tube chute, get a beer at Gruene hall, it’s the oldest dance hall in Texas. There’s tons of great food.

If you stay for a while...Cities & Towns : Austin, Georgetown, Fredericksburg, Wimberley, Hamilton Pool Preserve, New Braunsfels - Gruene Hall, Fort Worth - Stockyards, San Antonio Riverwalk, Houston, Maybe Galveston, Marfa Lights, Big Bend National Park. Every area is unique with is own personality. Better stay a while!

Go to Bandera nw of San Antonio on the weekend. Friday night local rodeo. Saturday night dancing under the oak tree. Stay at flying L guest ranch they have a pool golf etc
