Before the famous “I hate the letter S” essay, I wrote about hating the question “how many siblings do you have?” Bc I can always predict how the conversation will go and the internal turmoil of pretending my dead brother doesn’t exist or not. And if I say 2 and they ask how old are they do I say he’s 17 (at the time of writing) or 4 when he died. If I then have to say he’s dead ppl look at me like I’m the one made everything awkward when they are the ones that started the conversation in the first place.

My first legal lawsuit occurred when I was five years old” then it’s “In kindergarten, after being bullied, I opened Microsoft Word and wrote what I called a “lawsuit” against my classmates. I did not understand law, but I already believed unfairness should have an answer.” chat did I cooked or get cooked 🥀 its a 1500 byte essay so thats the hook
