So by this knowledge the scholors likely dont know where the orbitals are cus I doubt that Egg would betray Wemmbu like that.. its very clear he is a scholar. So the knowledge they have on Wemmbus orbitals is likely either little or purposely wrong because Egg seems to be quite loyal.

I remember the time then Egg was alone, Wemmbu came, saw invis particles, threatened the person and it was Jumperwho. and now what the scholars are introduced, I think Jumper might not have attacked Egg at all not bc she wanted something, but bc she knew Egg and did not want to attack her colleagues (I don't remember there is this moment from, so idk the context)

For people saying Egg is gonna betray Wemmbu if he's part of the scholars... Egg is such a bot that he probably doesn't even realize how huge being part of the scholars is, and probably just thinks they're just a bunch of people dedicating their time to catalog knowledge. And he's loyal, I don't think he'd be running his mouth about where Wemmbu's Orbitals are — just like he didn't when Flame threaten him. And he even asked Wemmbu if he could put info about the Farlands in his book or if it should be a secret. Besides, if the Scholars know about Wemmbu's Orbitals, they prob knew about them even if Egg didn't say anything about them. 'Cause Jamato's a scholar and he knows all about the Farlands and Serpentbound, FireStar, etc. So he probably knows about Lakerek and his Orbitals as well. (Let this age like wine, PLS)

Theory, Lackeric, the person who created the Forge, was the person who destroyed unstable first. The librarian said she had seen it before and had knowledge of the orbitals, but not the location. So Egg watched a former scholar die and is keeping secretes from them.
