Lifting burns more and for a longer period of time. Cardio is very good for your heart, but you pretty much only burn while youโre doing the activity.

I do cycling and my legs are beefed up. Absolute hamstring cannons. Protein pistons.

Her argument is def flawed, stronger muscle is the key for sustained fat burn than a quick hit with cardiovascular, when you stop cardio, the fat will return quicker

Here's my play on what works for me (I'm 58 y.o.) 45 min-1:00 hr moderate - periodized weight training + :30 min walking. or On non-weight training days (at least two days out of the week)= 1:00 hr of racquetball.... I choose racquetball because it's a lot of fun but also I see it more like a high intensity interval training event because of the stop go and stop go and stop go events happening nonstop within that time. So it really taxes my heart in a very efficient way while I'm having fun. thank you this was a great post!! ๐๐๐โค๏ธ

Wait, it's being positioned is that you took it completely out of context she went on to explain it, but you don't show that

DOAC is my favorite podcast but his guests are always treated like their word is gospel. He doesnโt challenge them or offer opposing views during the interviews. So I have to put on my critical thinking hat when I listen, and be mindful of who the guests are.
