In the last 50 years taxes have been SLASHED for the RICH and CORPORATIONS under the guise of the “Trickle Down Economics” policy of the Reagan Administration. Under that 3 things were SUPPOSED to happen (and never did); 1) Companies were SUPPOSED to RAISE the salaries of their workers from the profits (never happened). Instead, they bought MORE stocks and split that with the shareholders. 2) Companies were SUPPOSED to HIRE more workers (never happened). They FIRED workers and implemented automation. 3) Companies were SUPPOSED to REINVENT in their companies, making them more productive and profitable. Never happened. They moved overseas where labor is cheaper and they could make MORE money….and the moronic Republicans/right wing voters KEPT voting for it over and over and over again!!! TRUMP is just the last version of this…
