@sarrahstrimelbentley: I applaud @Alix Earle and @Ashtin Earle for publicly sharing their diagnosis of carrying the BRACA2 mutation. They are lending a voice to the “previvors” in our breast cancer community and spotlighting the power of genetic testing. Have you been genetically tested for cancer mutations? Would you want to know if you had one? Would you want your children to know if they were carriers? I wish I would’ve known about my Brip1 mutation at an early age. I would have done anything to not have to go through breast cancer. I would have done anything to have more control of my fertility options and possibly having had the option to have more babies.
