One time i worked at an eye doctor and they trained me on how to go thru the motions but not what any of it meant. So I did the autorefractor on a guy and his score was -9 so when we got to the dot vision test he said "i can't see anything" and i said "just try" and then the eye doctor pulled me into the back and screamed at me for wasting the guy's time because he was legally blind. Tbf, he DROVE HIMSELF THERE so how tf was I supposed to know that?? They never explained what the machines actually were to me. I quit that job and now me and my friends prank call them.

They did the eye pressure test on my 16 year old daughter and I had just seen a video earlier that week about it punching your eye. After she was done I informed my daughter of said video and the nurse looked at me horrified and said "Im so glad you waited until after to tell her!" 😆

I had a tech come get me because she couldn’t get a tonopen pressure on a patient. I go in to help, it was a prosthetic eye 😣

I have zero idea how to take eye pressure so I laughed initially thinking it was funny that you just looked nervous then I realized you put a bp cuff on her head and almost choked laughing 🤣🤣🤣
