As an ex catholic, I have come to understand that she doesn’t need to be celebrated at all. The plan of salvation was given to Jesus by the Father. The bible is the story of Jesus redeeming the world, in which there will be a great celebration at the end of time 😬

As an Orthodox Christian, I find this one of my favorite holidays because it's one of the rare ones we celebrate together ❤️(except we call it the Nativity of the Theotokos). This will be my very first one; I'll be praying my rosary for her. I got it only days ago. I like to think she'd be proud.
