This is basically Physical Organic Chemistry. or in other words, organic chemistry would be incomplete without Physical and Analytical Chemistry. Physical Chemistry is required to understand the thermodynamics/kinetics of an organic reaction. Analytical chemistry is required to visualize the kinetics/thermodynamics and confirm the generation of the compound of interest through chemical/spectroscopic tests.
