@devotion_to_krishna: Is the Bhagavad Gita the only sacred scripture of Hinduism? This is one of the most common misconceptions about the Hindu scriptural tradition. While the Bhagavad Gita is one of the most important and widely known sacred texts, it represents only a part of a much larger body of Hindu literature. In this video, we explore the vast scriptural tradition of Sanatana Dharma, including the Vedas, Upanishads, Puranas, Itihasas, Smritis, Shastras and other important texts. Rather than viewing Hinduism through the idea of a single “holy book,” this video looks at the depth and diversity of its sacred literature and introduces the many texts that have shaped Hindu philosophy, spirituality, culture and religious practice for centuries. Watch the complete video to discover the scriptures beyond the Bhagavad Gita and understand the remarkable breadth of the Hindu scriptural tradition. #bhagwatgita #sanatandharma #harekrishna #spiritualawakeningvideo #positiveencouragement

No other religion can be next to or comparable with Sanatana Dharma. Sanatana Dharma is eternal and universal, revolving through the cycles of the four yugas. In contrast, earthly religions will come to an end at the time of doomsday...Hare Krishna ❤️

Hinduism is very diverse; only some study sacred texts while most others mainly follow family traditions, temple worship, festivals, devotional practices or cultural customs without reading scripture closely.
Some Hindus are highly religious, some are more culturally Hindu and some may be secular or non-practising

Other Divinely Revealed Scriptures
Islamic belief requires faith in all original books (Kutub) revealed by God throughout history. However, Muslims believe the original texts of these earlier books were altered or lost over time, making the Quran the final and preserved revelation:
Tawrat (Torah): Revealed to the Prophet Musa (Moses).
Zabur (Psalms): Revealed to the Prophet Dawud (David).
Injeel (Gospel): Revealed to the Prophet Isa (Jesus).
Suhuf (Scrolls): Earlier scriptures revealed to Prophets Ibrahim (Abraham) and Musa (Moses).

Supplementary Sacred Texts
Hadith: Detailed records of the sayings, actions, and silent approvals of the Prophet Muhammad. Key collections—such as Sahih al-Bukhari and Sahih Muslim—hold sacred authority, acting as the primary practical guide for applying Quranic principles to daily life and Islamic law (Sharia).

That's a misconception. While the Quran is the central and final revelation in Islam, Muslims also believe in the divine origin of earlier scriptures given to previous prophets, such as the Torah, Psalms, and Gospel. Additionally, centuries of Islamic scholarship and Hadith collections further enrich the faith's understanding beyond the Quran alone.

MUHAMMAD SAEED CHOONARA :
while the Quran is the ultimate and central text in Islam, it is not the only scripture or authoritative text recognized within the faith. Islamic theology acknowledges several other divinely revealed scriptures sent to earlier prophets, as well as secondary sacred texts that record the teachings of Prophet Muhammad.
