My company has everyone go through orientation regardless of position, and it really helps humanize higher positions and helps the higher ups understand their employees

I’ve had experience with ceo’s that knew every single job and could perform it well and knew every employee, birthdays, anniversaries, and made sure that every employee was treated well and I’ve had the exact opposite where the ceo had no clue what the employees did or how to do the job! I think everyone has experienced this at some point but I can tell you it makes a huge difference in my level of dedication to my work!

Pashaw! The CEO's act like they now know something because the have seen what you do. They know nothing unless they do your job day after dayat your pay rate, have a shitty day, and still have to come in the next day and do it all over again.

I had a VP that went around and said "good morning" to every employee every single morning I became a Regional Employee Advocate and I did the same thing for 10years. Employee interaction is key at any level, at every company.

I worked for a Canadian company where everyone would go through 2-day orientation together no matter your position. It was the most wonderful company I've ever worked for
