@forever.home.resc: The cold crisp air hitting my face use to make me smile. It made me flash back to snow days in my child hood and brought me a peace in my soul. The grown up rescuer Chrissy feels the crisp and my heart sinks. It feels desperate and fearful . I know there’s thousands still waiting. I have over 200 in waiting line for us to say yes. This last weekend we served over 500 people standing in line waiting for food and vetting for their animals . Hundreds asked for us to help them find better living conditions for their animals . The temps dropped this weekend and now we are going below freezing this week. The urgency and desperation is climbing. Until you have stood staring at a dog that starved and froze to the ground you don’t know the gut wrenching feeling of we should have begged harder.. so today I beg . I need fosters. I need funds. My little body will run til it can’t run to another . I just can’t do it alone. I need safe places and funds to pay for their care. I need funds to upgrade dogs shelters that are cold .
