I use the braun in-ear thermometer, I actually got recommended to buy this when my daughter was sick from the doctor, it comes with a pack of the plastic caps so keeps it clean too and now she loves using it she tries to put it in her ear herself

as a nurse, I would say the in ear ones are the most accurate unless you're buying proper medical grade ones under the arm onee aren't terrible but the forehead scanners can be so inaccurate

I have a central line and the only thermometer I use is Braun Thermoscan ear one. Don’t use forehead ones as they only measure skin temp not body temp so lots of things can affect the result.

I have braun in ear ones, they’ve always been accurate to the hospital readings when my sons been poorly. I paid a little extra for a newer one as it literally takes seconds x
