Before paying extra, ask: 💦 Is it a shared swim-up pool or a more private pool? ☀️ How much sun does it get? 👀 How much privacy will you have? 📍 Where is the room located within the resort? 🏖️ Will you actually use it enough to justify the cost? Here's something else people don't always realize: Not all “swim-up” rooms are created equal. The experience can vary considerably from one resort—and even one room category—to another. Sometimes I'd absolutely recommend spending the extra money. Other times? I'd tell you to save it and spend the money somewhere else.
