There’s a massive disconnect between the regular person and content creators man. “So many games they’re all amazing” no there isn’t. When you’re in a position where you only have a limited amount of time, work kids life etc you have to be so selective with what you do with your time.

What’s hit me lately is how only a few of these companies respect me as a consumer. There may be 1000 games coming out before the year ends, how many of them do I get to PHYSICALLY OWN a COPY of for my money?

I really hate the idea of putting weird barriers on what makes someone a “true fan” of something. I don’t think only liking older games means you like video games any less than someone who has the time and money to keep up with newer titles. Cant we all just be fans of this cool medium without getting all garekeepy about it?

I enjoy games, and guaranteed I've been gaming longer than you 😆 I'm old. But I agree I'm only hyped for Senua, Stranger Than Heaven, and The Expanse. But I'm also a broke full-time worker with bills. So I'll still have to wait for the game to go on sale. Nothing is worth full price anymore when the discounts happen only months later.
