I’ve done this with my husband. I stopped chasing, I realized I was putting way more effort in so he didn’t have to do anything. I kinda lost myself. So I have entered my “selfish era” where I am going hardcore on losing weight, working out, becoming the hottest version of myself for ME. New hotter clothes, more time spent on my skincare and being outside, starting projects that don’t require him and that I don’t have to tell him all about. I also realized I was doing WAY TOO MUCH TALKING. My god, all the talking for both of us. 😂

I have stopped chasing, stopped looking after him, stopped doing everything, stopped asking what he's doing etc nothing has changed, he doesnt chase, doesnt plan, does absolutely nothing

You made a video about 2 years ago about leaning back when people are not reciprocating vs chasing- I must have watched that video 50 times. People immediately pick up - even hard-core "I don't need you" type people pick up when you pull back. They will then lean in. We somehow believe "that person" holds the key to your happiness. Remove it from their hands, put that key in YOUR pocket and walk away. I was the poster golden retriever. You can literally just stop. You can still be friendly. But as you say- don't constantly be in other people's space. Pull back, disappear. Be warm vs cloying.

Over 20 years of marriage,and I’ve followed your page a long time and everything you say is the truth! A man NEEDS to feel like he’s chasing after a prize constantly. Early in our marriage I catered to him and did all the things you think a man wants, I tried so hard to be a good wife..but he didn’t treat me well and we were both unhappy. A man is happiest when you are selfish and put yourself first, become the prize. Be a little mean, my husband even admitted that he loves it.
