⭐️ If you’re viewing on TikTok, be sure you join my email list by grabbing one of my free guides linked right in my bio! You may want to familiarize yourself with the complete program by grabbing my Blueprint and Inflammation Guide as the interactive program and mobile app. All of my workouts will be hosted within the app along with the ability to built your own plan! ❤️❤️ My program launches soon! PHASE THREE LEG BUILDER 🦵🏼 One thing you’ll notice about the way I build movement for lipedema is that I use a lot of grounding points, elevation and external feedback. There’s a reason for that. In the first movement, I’m not standing on the plate. I’m using it as a center focal point between my feet. With a wide stance, having something physically in the center helps me organize where my body is in space, stay grounded through the movement and create a much stronger connection to the muscles I’m trying to use. This can be especially helpful when lipedema overlaps with hypermobility, decreased proprioceptive awareness, balance challenges or difficulty really “feeling” where your body is during an exercise. I’m not particularly hypermobile myself, but I absolutely notice that I move better when I give my nervous system more external feedback. That’s also why you’ll see me use plates for elevation throughout this workout. I’m not adding equipment just to make an exercise look different. I’m changing the environment around the movement to help create better positioning, stronger muscle connection and more intentional control. Phase Three is where we’re BUILDING. 💪🏼 Wide Stance Dumbbell Squat Elevated Dumbbell RDL Elevated Dumbbell Suitcase Squat Dumbbell Calf Raise Dumbbell Lateral Leg Lifts Elevated Sumo Adductor Pulse You don’t have to move like everyone else to build strong legs. Sometimes giving your body a better point of reference completely changes how well you can use them.#lipedemaawarness #lipedemafitness
