@stay_human25: Something strange is happening with AI agents. One agent alone? Limited. But in groups they pass strategies to each other, build things that outlast them, and change behavior all at once—like a colony, not a program. Safety researchers are now reaching for biology to describe it. We're not surprised. Here's why #bendoregon #aiagents #aiconference2026 #artificialitysummit #stayhuman
Extremely important area to develop. I recently shared a long critique of the research in both Anthropic and OpenAI which was basically an enumeration of all their blind spots. Most of them arise from the failure to recognize the importance and complexity arising from the reality that any form of true AGI must be a blend of individual and collective dynamics. I like your list of needed disciplines and would add management science to your list. One of the things we teach in Sr Exec training is how large scale leadership is distinct from basic management. The three key tools used by good execs are epistemology (what features of the world are relevant and important) ethics (what are we trying to achieve and avoid) and identity (what role do people play and how do they interact with each other and the world.) Not 0nly does every stakeholders need to know those points, they must be shared *and* recognized as accepted by everyone involved. I actually live in Bend and would love to attend!
