It is quite scary as chatGPT could do a lot of soft jobs now, if it had unlimited tokens and lower cost a company will choose it over human staff, governments won’t want that because working humans = revenue for them, not working means cost to them, the only way it would work is if the AGIs increase productivity enough for a country to have a basic living wage for everyone.

I used Astra to create a vector design from scratch from my brief as a test, including icons, and it produced a generic result, the icons looked like something a non designer trying to use Illustrator for the first time would do. Very basic. The design itself would be sonething I’d expect from a non designer who knows how to drive the software but has no design training would do. Certainly no where close to AGI.

I just ran the same academic theoretical prompt on Opus 5 and Astra and Opus out performed it by far 😭. Astra was faster, but not nearly as good quality, thoughtful, or insightful. And Opus has been so BAD lately.
