While serving as a US Army intelligence analyst in Iraq, Chelsea Manning leaked hundreds of thousands of classified military and diplomatic documents to the public in 2010, including footage of a military airstrike that killed civilians. She was convicted under the Espionage Act and sentenced to 35 years, though her sentence was later commuted after seven years served, remaining one of the largest classified disclosures in American history. As the FBI's Associate Director, Mark Felt secretly fed critical information to two Washington Post journalists investigating the Watergate break-in in 1972, helping expose a cover-up that reached into the White House. His identity as the anonymous source known as "Deep Throat" remained one of American journalism's best-kept secrets for over three decades, only confirmed publicly in 2005. A former military analyst, Daniel Ellsberg leaked a classified Pentagon study in 1971 revealing that successive US administrations had repeatedly misled the public about the true state of the Vietnam War. The publication of the "Pentagon Papers" led to a landmark Supreme Court case affirming freedom of the press, and espionage charges against Ellsberg were ultimately dismissed after evidence of serious government misconduct emerged. And a former NSA contractor, Edward Snowden leaked thousands of classified documents in 2013 revealing the massive scale of global surveillance programs run by the US government and its allies, sparking a worldwide debate over privacy and government overreach. Another whistleblower I want to mention is named Brook Jackson who worked as a regional manager for a company known as Ventavia. They were contracted to do a clinical trial for what was needed during 2020. She reported that the trial had over enrolled, the product wasn't properly tempered nor disposed of and adverse events weren't reported as quickly. She would be terminated after reporting them to the FDA.

Hopefully there’s a whistleblower on all the weird sexual misconduct that gets hidden by superiors in the US Navy. It consistently happens but every-time there’s a case no one finds out anything because the superiors keep quiet.
