@brad_huebner: If EVERYTHING becomes a change order, your customer may start feeling nickel-and-dimed. Brad’s solution? Build predictable costs into the estimate. If you know you’ll probably run into the same issue on a bathroom remodel, account for it upfront instead of creating another change order every time. Don’t just react to predictable problems. Price for them. #Contractors #ChangeOrders #ConstructionBusiness #ContractorTips #ConstructionEstimating #Construction #Mason #Electrician #Painters #Plumbers #Podcast #BusinessMindset #ProfitFirst #EntrepreneurLife #HammerandGrindPodcast #Contractors #ContractorofTikTok
But you still have to report to the customer before taking money out of the so called Slush Fund. You can’t just take what you feel is right out from the set up fund without the owner agreeing to it. So in the end your still having to right up an order to remove the funds and having them agree to the extra. Same paperwork requiring their signature. What’s the point in the end ?
