I always tell myself that I liked that tattoo at the time that I got it and it meant something to me then, even if I don’t like it that much now! That’s important to me, I always like to pay homage to the journey I’ve been on 🫶🏻

placement is more important than what the tattoo is imo. getting something small in a very large area limits what you can do later down the road

Got my first tattoo in February on my inner wrist I’m 18 and never want to be heavily tattooed but I absolutely love my fine line sentimental tattoos I have things that remind me of the people I love it’s very important to think things through especially when it comes to placement especially if you think you want bigger designs or sleeves

I got a bunch unlicensed at 17, but I’ve gone through severe childhood trauma and I’ve felt unsafe in my skin for as long as I could remember and tattoos are the only thing that made me feel like I could breathe again.

I’m finally at the stage where I’m being very mindful about placing and flow especially to optimize space because I have a looong wish list of tattoos. I got 5 when I was younger (17/18) and now at 31 I have 4 of them covered and I’m not a fan of 2 of those cover ups. I finally found a studio with amazing artists that I trust

I definitely agree but I’m at the point where I regret more than half my tattoos I just wanna be a clean girl 😫😫😫plus I got most of them at 15-16 (maybe 17 would be the oldest) and I was broke so they aren’t the best work either 💔.
