emergency c section for the first. did a planned c section a month ago and my OB told me it was a good choice, I couldn't have done a VBAC with how the baby was positioned and it would've ended in emergency c section 🫠🫠

Wish I had a vbac. Recovery the second time with a toddler was longgggggg and so much more painful and I felt guilty I couldn’t do anything with him because I could barely move, the extra night in hospital killed me too. I want to try for a VBA2C for #3 but have to find a hospital willing to take me

My first was an emergency C-section and I just had my second child who I was booked for an elective C-section with but then the night before I was ment to go in I spontaneously went into labour and ended up having a successful Vbac and I’m 100% glad it happened that way as it made the healing process so much easier and it was so healing I would recommend a Vbac any day and if I ever go for a third child will definitely be going the Vbac again ☺️

Emergency C with my first. Just had a VBAC and it was the best experience. Stuff trying to look after my tornado of a toddler after a c section 😂

I’ve had 2 elective c sections as my first baby was breech and no complaints my second c section was so much easier, it’s like your body remembers how to move without using your tummy and recovery was easy. Booked my 3rd elective c section in 8 weeks. Everyone’s own personal choice but I have thankfully had a really positive experience 🥰🥰

I’ve had 1 c section and 2 VBACs I am very happy I’ve had 2 VBACs and if I do have another baby I will vbac again however I’d treat it like I did my last one as if I’m just like any normal woman having a baby because realistically I am with a high success rate

Emergency c section with my first. Second i planned on a vbac unfortunately due to placenta abruption at 33w1d it was a cat 1 under general anaesthesia. I found the recovery slightly better as I knew what to expect however I did have extra complications (pph had i needed a vertical incision on my uterus due to adhesions)

the only thing that was harder was looking after a toddler and a newborn, not being able to pick up my toddler and trying to keep him off my tummy was hard and I felt guilty for not being able to care for him and cuddle him like I did before having the baby but recovery was really easy and I found it a bit easier because I knew what to expect and how to manage because I'd been through it before

First was scheduled c-section due to him being breeched. second was a successful VBAC with a second degree tear. with a toddler, I preferred this as much easier recovery.

Had a Vbac and it was the best thing I could of done, however I do think it’s just luck like any birth. All I can suggest is if you want to have a vbac do your research, advocate for yourself, and prepare your body for the vbac. I did miles circuit and spinning babies and had my daughter in an hour and a half from the start of labour.

I had a c section with my first as he was frank breech and then I had an unmedicated VBAC with my second. It wasn’t the pain of pushing for me but I think I prefer the pain in my stomach rather than in my vagina and bum and being scared to go to the toilet. So c section wins for me

Traumatic emergency c section with my first and the most healing vbac with my second. I had no tears so my recovery was so easy. I was in the shower 1hr after birth and felt incredible.

I tried for vbac but my big guy didn’t wanna vacate 🤣 I was close to 42 weeks I was just mentally exhausted by the end so I finally agreed to c section after everything else seem to take its time. It was absolutely a beautiful redemption I’m proud of myself for what I could do before the c section happened butttt imma try for a vba2c

2 c sections. My first was breach so it was planned my second was a c section but my waters broke this time and I just went in and decided that’s what we were doing. honestly the recovery the second time was WAY easier I have no idea why, also my procedure was way more calmer even though it wasn’t as planned.

I had an emergency c section the first time then a vbac 2&3 time no tearing nothing got up straight after had a shower walked from birthing suit to maternity ward. Best decision. My best friend had c sections and each c section she said the pain was worse. Everyone is different.
