There’s been a lot of seafood in my Instagram feed lately, and honestly I’m loving the chance to highlight more than just the BBQ side of what I cook. This beautiful California Halibut from E‑fish stopped me in my tracks. Started simple: avocado oil in the pan, ginger, green onions. That combo wakes up the fish’s natural freshness without ever getting in the way. Then a simmering sauce—white pepper, soy, sugar, more ginger, and a few other Asian flavors that have been living in my notes for years. Let the halibut finish right in that mix. @E-Fish Plated it with that rediscovered pepper sauce from the old cook notes… and I swear, I could eat this one every day.
