MOHELA said for auto pay they pull the payment on the due date and it can take a few days to process. They do not let you pick the date your payment comes out. So for PSLF auto pay is not the right choice.

I will not put my loan on autopay no matter what. I don’t want any other entity to have access to my account. ONE PERCENT is not enough for me. I will make payments in advance online like I’ve always done.

The problem is that I dont trust Nelnet. The way is set up is not clear for borrowers. They are charging whatever they want.

They’ll confirm autopay, send a confirmation letter that’s it active, then fail to run it. and then send you a late statement and deny that month from counting.

I agree with some people who made the comment that they are not happy leaving their account available to any company to have any type of auto payment. I've done this at least two times and yet I have some issues with my bank where something has been charged or money has been taken out of my account. I will not do that. Unfortunately, we are never safe with our money.

So I’m in school for my doctorate and Mohela reported that the loans that I still have on the save plan are delinquent even though I’m in forbearance. What do I do? My credit dropped by 45 points

I paid august payment on 7/30 mohela has it has it as qualifying and student aid didn’t count it, says it’s an extra principal payment even tho they sent invoice for august pymt

I hear so many horror stories of late payments on auto pay which is detrimental to PSLF. Wish I could choose the day for it to come out so it came out before due date to make sure
