I boil a chicken breast, mix it with wet food and a tiny bit of dry food and then fill up the wet food container with water. Mix it all together and put a freezer dried fish on top 😂😂😂

My old man kitty is so picky with his prescription kidney food so when he won’t eat it (which he rarely does) I use this supplement in regular wet food mixed with water. His kidney levels got so much better and is sitting right above normal now. His phosphorus levels were low.

My old man only eats kibble. Like seriously won’t even eat treats or chicken. Kidney disease scares me so much for them but idk how to get him to eat wet food. Even when he was a kitten he wouldn’t eat it.

I make “kitty soup” by adding water to their wet gravy food and then some Stella and chewy dinner morsels as a topper to up the protein!

My cat got diagnosed with level 2 and they prescribed science hill but I went with Weruva WX and freeze dried treats as well as an omega. My other 2 seniors are on fancy feast senior 🥰

my biggest tip is to USE A HUGE SALAD/MIXING BOWL AS A WATER DISH!! my cats drink WAY more water than they used to because it stops whisker fatigue that they often get with smaller bowls!

My senior cat 19 years old had normal kidney reading but somehow when I start giving her fancy feast pate chicken as recommended, she started showing a bit of signs that I decided to go with another blood test ( annual supposed to be in next 4 months), she’s showing slight high of kidney issue. I hope just because we change her food to fancy feast. That’ll be easier caused now I stop and giving her royal canin renal kibbles (soak it since she’s old). Will have to do another blood test to see if renal works

Does anyone have any low phosphorus cat food recommendations? I have tried, weruva (bff line), applaws, and nulo. He is a very picky eater and mainly throws up his food. He has consistently been eating the wet chicken Sheba. But with him aging I was hoping to switch him to something better!

Could you discuss some lower phosphorous wet food options? So many canned wet & raw foods seem to have high phos levels. Fortunately, my senior doesn't have kidney issues, but I'd prefer to feed wet foods with low to normal phos levels. Weruva has a fair amount of choices, but any other recs? LIke TC Feline's "special formula" for homemade foods? Would really love a series like your top food series tailored to seniors.

Two of my cats got diagnosed with stage 2 CKD last week 😭 one is 11 and the other is 5. I was devastated. I’m bringing all my others cats to the vet for blood work now because I’m too scared. My oldest is allergic to chicken so I spent 2 hours yesterday looking at your list to find food for him…. He only eats Rawz rabbit & low phos beef… 😔
