The people who like Percy Jackson will never be happy with anything. I personally loved the movies and was sad when they stopped making them due to lack of interest and now I love the show and people again are hating on it and I’m gonna be so mad if they don’t finish the series

the thing that made me actually debate blocking him was when he said that rr's worldbuilding was the best since tolkien. i love worldbuilding and so like i felt personally offended bc rick didnt even fucking make his own pantheon... but also it just tells me that he really only cares about pjo. like theres basically nothing else going on in his life, at least reading wise, because if there was then hed know how much bullshit that was

I think once Disney started paying attention to him, he really started going off this toxic positivity ride. You can't interview the creator of the franchise, frequently go to premieres and exclusive events, and be an ambassador of a Disney product while being vocal about your issues with said product without risking losing the perks.

okay, I don't understand some of these people in the comments. do I like mason? yeah. but if someone else doesn't like him, they are required to watch him to "form an opinion." they clearly already have, so they are allowed to dislike him. it's not as if she's leaving hate comments on his videos, just saying she doesn't want to see them.

His content was really good before the show came out. He was very passionate which I loved. Now it’s just insufferable. Apparently the show is perfect in his eyes cause any genuine critiques about it is wrong. Even if it’s not true, it really makes it look like he’s being paid to only speak positively about the show.

He just glazes everything about the universe no matter what cause he gets to do stuff with Disney. Not saying people have to be negative but if there’s not a single thing you dislike from multiple book series and a show adaptation that had a massive viewership drop you’ve got a problem

Ngl I don’t get the point of posts like this. Not just you, I’ve seen other people do it too but like. What purpose is there in making a video that’s just “hey I don’t like this guy” why does someone need to announce that they don’t like a person they’ve never met? It just seems so uselessly negative. If you want him off your fyp just block him and move on to things you do like.

I personally don't like the show. I'm the kinda of person that likes things to be a book accurate as possible. but I'm happy for the actors for getting the roles and hope they get more good roles in the future.

I blocked him when he Flipped sides about Rick bc he was invited . I love that he got his dream but to be so loud about the show being accurate and immediately flipping just turned me off

I have very few pjo creators who I think have good takes, like- they nearly always have bad ones. My least favorite thing is how he views Percy as this like, infallible and perfect main character who’s worlds above the rest of the characters and like, Percy is great but so are the rest???

I feel so out of touch with PJO drama. I grew up with the books and also enjoy the show? I’m rereading the books again in time with it. While they’re not the same, the show still feels like a faithful adaption in spirit, unlike the movies. I’m a bit out of touch of why people dislike it. Is it because the show isn’t verbatim scene by scene what happens in the books? I thought the changes made sense for a visual medium, and they come off like an author revisiting a story they wrote 20 years ago and tweaking some things
