Agree- college is not the only path. However, a college degree does broaden your opportunities, which in turn may lead to increasing your earning potential, or even in some cases -like yours, pivot. I would reframe the message and say “get your college degree, pick a marketable career, and/or pivot as needed”. An education/degree is something that no one can take away from you, thus college degrees all the way. MBA here, setting the ground to pursue my PhD.
