So I have a neighbor who is kind and sweet, he has a daughter and our kids play together. We’ve started dating but haven’t told the kids and are keeping it low-key. Is this ok? I have always had boundaries about men around my child but this is a new situation for us.

Another aspect is the attachment the kids migh feel towards the new partner,and then after 6 months you brake up and they are left with yet another adult "ripped away" for the second time (some people do this over and over to their kids,and thats fucked up). 2nd Thing, yes..Ped*files are targeting mothers with kids. Especially the ones where the father is not present and her support system is weak. Be aware! Same goes for teachers,after-school staff etc, be mindful!!
