We, and MANY OTHER FIELDS, use algebra constantly for things like structural design, electrical systems, fluid mechanics, nuclear reactor physics, and basically every serious technical field imaginable. I spent almost 12 years in the U.S. Navy’s nuclear engineering sector. Trust me, Tucker: the letters (and symbols) are there for a reason.
