@hairtox.method: Taking your braids down is only the first step. Before you shampoo, take time to properly detangle the hair from the ends and work your way up toward the roots. Why? Because while your hair has been in braids, you’ve still been naturally shedding. That shed hair can stay trapped within the style and become tangled with the hair that is still attached. If you go straight into washing without detangling first, that can contribute to unnecessary tangling and matting. So remember: Braids out. Detangle first. Shampoo second. Good hair care is not always about adding more products. Sometimes it’s about using the right technique at the right time. #HairCareTips #DetanglingHair #ProtectiveStyleTakeDown #HairShedding
