coming from someone who has worked with a pool company for 3 years & sold 100s of custom IG liners. i HIGHHHHLY suggest a deep darker blue, as long as the pattern is darker blue? your liner will be more longer lasting & less likely to fade than if you get a lighter colored liner. i also have a lot of chemical expertise & there is a chemical called calcium hardness. it’s used to PROTECT the liner from the harsh rays of the sun & gets your liner youthful. i’ve always explained it as “sunscreen” for liners. as long as you go with a darker liner, no MATTER the pattern. & keep consistent chemical levels, your liner will not fade out on you. also, always go 27mil-30mil :)!

Also make sure it's easy to spot snakes on. We had a chlorine and a salt water pool and every summer we had a snake in the pool. Always check under steps in deep end and the filter.
