i’ve seen so many of these videos and I don’t understand why these people are laughing. guess they are in shock? their properties and the homes are being destroyed. Their property value has plummeted. No one will insure them it’s over.

I’m not sure I feel bad anymore. This happens to ultrawealthy coastal areas time and time again, and insurance covers the multimillion-dollar losses so they can rebuild and refurnish. Meanwhile, people facing the recent catastrophic flooding in Nepal and Morocco may never recover. “Acts of God” apparently become “renovation opportunities” when God hits the right ZIP code. The giggles as if they’re at a water park signal they DGAF
