Would be a way bigger loss for the SEC than LSU. LSU would likely stay independent and just be a better version of notre dame

None of the LSU can make it independent crowd understand market valuation for TV contracts. LSU is a regional brand not national brand. Add the fact that the SEC, BIg 10, BIg 12, or ACc would never schedule a game against them again because they all have similar rules that LSU would try to violate and LSU is never making another playoff because their schedule would so weak it would be a joke.
