This thing is awesome!! Complaints- 1. You can turn the laser off without locking the pendulum. Every laser l've touched you need to lock the pendulum to turn the laser off. The first time I put it away I didn't lock the pendulum. I can see this being problematic if you're not paying close attention and you store it on a bumpy car ride in the unlocked position. 2. Requires a 5/8 thread Most f not all lasers/ve usedhave e a 1/4-20 threaded insert for tripod mounts. I had to buy an adapter to make it work on the tripod pictured here. Dewalt makes a tripod specifically for this laser, But personally, I don't care to see tool specific accessories. 3. The vertical elevation adjustment only works in increments of 1/8

I'd love to see this a smooth, consistent motion like the rotation adjustment. Which is phenomenally smooth. All in all, I think this is a fantastic laser that will provide a lot of benefit for those who don't have an extra set of hands or who are working at extreme distances who don't wanna walk back-and-forth to the laser . I'll do a full review after l've had some time to put it to the test. **most accurate when comparing plumbing accuracy over the span of 9ft. There was no error in the accuracy of the line.
