IRON PARADISE 10.0 3 years to build. Devil’s in the details. My sacred sanctuary ~ where progress, peace and “no mind” is chased daily. Some construction + architectural details for ya that you’ll appreciate ~ I wanted everything exposed so it had that industrial grit feel because it’s time to work 👍🏾 🏗️ Clear open structure for mana + energy to flow. Vaulted ceiling with giant fan and cupola windows and screens for air flow. No interior columns. Exposed metal roofing. Exposed structural steel beams. Exposed ducts & HVAC system. Exposed conduits and electrical outlets. All walls corrugated black steel. Custom steel doors and windows. Steel accents at all baseboard and door/window openings. “StarFire” mirrors 🔥🪞 heyyyyyyyy 🦵🏾😂 Stainless steel kitchen. Old school hot rocks sauna. Red light therapy. ** Thumpin’ sound system calibrated with four exposed ceiling speakers and four floor mounted big ass subs 😈 (music must come correct;) At the heart of the Iron Paradise is my daily reminder of the Japanese philosophy called Mushin - “mind, no mind” (flow state). In the center and the grounding of the entire gym is the Japanese Ensō ~ the beauty and power of life’s imperfections, and the truth that we never have to be perfect to be WHOLE — and the incomplete Ensō is the reminder that in life, there’s always room for growth and progress.
