I feel like the “goalies are weird” stereotype should just be “goalies are autistic” because the pattern recognition and predictive tracking are unmatched, and the hyperfocus they’ve got to have is insane. Also: math for fun? That tracks.

Showing this to my 8yr old who loves hockey, loves the Calgary Flames and initially did well at the beginning of last year in Math, but saw his grades slightly decrease later in the year. Show him that math is FUN!
