I think people don't realize how homophobic Thailand can actually be behind its queer-friendly facade. There are definitely many queer people in the Thai entertainment industry, so why have so few actually come out? Coming out changes everything for them—their brand endorsement deals, the roles they get cast in, and more. On top of that, people start viewing them solely through the lens of being queer rather than as actors, prying even further into their private lives. They have never hidden anything from their fans; it’s only the people who don’t truly know them that assume it’s all just fanservice.

I want to add something, this whole situation and the reason they ask them . the day before this event offroad has promoting tour and he went to one of a famous show called " chae" it's the same mc that has issue with many fandom, he say i heard from a staff she / he ask me p'moddam " the mc name " is DaouOffroad are really boyfriends? they keep kissing each other cheek the whole day because she / he was in the same flight with them and she saw it , since p'moddam known as a gossiper and he know who is dating and who is not , so on the next day they ask them so someone saw you two kissing and daou was shocked he was like huh when did they saw ? he even says if you see something " their private " time just be quite about and then they ask them so are you two dating or not ? he was like no , because if you see the whole interview it was like uncomfortable and disrespectful, asking about private things and even asking them to smells each other infront of them

Yesterday when I saw the interview I was like people gonna come after those fuck*ass reporters for continuously cornering them with awkward qsns and forcing them to admit something that they are completely not ready to admit. but well...... This isn't the first time these media did that to them. they even pressured them abt wedding. they continuously asked them when are you guys getting married? Daou always shut them off and always said let's not talk abt our private life. But the day he refused to give them what they wanted to hv from them he is suddenly in fault now.
