@mbbbl4: Are you really from the Midwest if you don't leave the fair in a food coma? 🎡 We only had one day to make our massive state fair food haul happen, so we had to make it count. You can’t leave without some Sweet Marthas cookies, but we also crushed slushies from O’Garas’s, Peachys’s huge glazed donuts, and Chan’s skewers all in one afternoon. If you follow Twin Cities food, you know that tracking down all the MN state fair must haves in a single trip is basically a marathon. We waited for the famous Hmong corndog and grabbed a slice of Rick’s pickle pizza right before the sun went down. There is just nothing like a Minnesota summer night eating classic state fair food.
