@thecaitlinnelizabeth: am I the only one who cant watch September 11th documentaries? it immediately brings me back to that day and gives me anxiety. #september11 #sept11 #nyc
I’m the opposite. Something about it, though it’s horrible I still watch stuff. There’s certain things I cannot watch though, like the documentaries that show the alarms on the fire fighters or listening to the calls of the people on the airplanes. But the documentaries are almost like… painfully comforting? Maybe I just have a broken nervous system lol

You’re not alone. Even talking about it with my kids sometimes, when the conversation is over I can physically feel myself relax. It makes me very anxious.

No, you are not alone. I haven’t been able to watch anything since the actual event and the few weeks after. I 100% believe that I have PTSD from watching it happen live. Even writing this right now and thinking about it I start to cry.

I am not from NYC, and I still haven’t watched anything. I think this year hit harder than any other bc this app and people talking about their experiences. Everyone has a story from that day if you were old enough to

Watching it broadcast live with my company, and seeing the second plane slam into the building is something that definitely traumatized me. I was in CT And had friends in the nypd and fdny. Could not stop crying for days.

I was only able to watch one last year. It was called ‘One Day In America’. I think it was very good. Not sensational.
