I hate the fact that no one is talking about the fact that this was at Venice film festival. for his work to be applauded at this level at one of the most prestigious film festivals that screens some of the highest rated movies before theatrical release is insane, and even most of those movies don't get this level of applause.

Unfortunately standing ovations mean nothing every film festival is a circle jerk where every movie that’s shown gets a self gratuitous xtra long standing ovation no matter what. I’m sure this movie is gonna be great but it’s annoying seeing all these tiktoks talk about this standing ovation like it means anything.
