Billy bobs is over rated and the floor is small. Idk where largest comes from. If you want a decent sized floor then go to cowboys red river.

Cowboy red River is better. The dance floor is way bigger. Billy Bob’s is just old and iconic cause it’s been there forever.

Mate - It’s a great place to have fun, but don’t plan on eating there. I recommend Cooper’s Old Time Pit BBQ that’s directly across the street.

While you’re there go eat Mexican food around the corner at Joe T’s Garcia’s in Fort Worth…. That’s the only Billy Bob’s and there is only one Joe T’s. Honky Tonk means it’s a country western bar. It will be full of cowboy boots and cowboy hats… country music - sometimes live music. They also have live bull riding at Billy bobs. Check their website to see if you need tickets for an event.

Guitars and Cadillacs is better in my opinion. It’s not a tourist trap. The drinks are cheaper. Dance floor is bigger. Just my opinions though

Go to New Braunfels and visit Gruene Hall. It’s the oldest dance hall in Texas. John Travolta filmed the dance seen in the movie Michael there. It’s pronounced green.

The building is big, they have great concerts. It’s far from the best honky tonk in the Stockyards. Walk up & down W Exchange and pop inside any bar for a true honky tonk.

Go to Billy Bobs at night. Some of the videos I’ve seen are visitors going during the day when it’s slow. Friday and Saturday nights are the best.

it also has a rodeo arena inside. be sure to walk around the entire stockyards area too.
